.... and for an honest review (which is NOT written by another club) read below....this is what View London had to say."You don't need to be ‘down with the kids’ at The House and Terrace club - because there are no kids. This roomy venue in North Greenwich serves up funky tunes for a grown-up crowd. The VenueGetting to The House and Terrace involves a less than jolly stroll from North Greenwich station, into the industrial hinterland of this tongue-shaped peninsula on the Thames. Thankfully, it comes quickly into view next to a giant gas works. The front of the club is done up in a mock Tudor style, more typical of an oversized suburban pub. However, step inside and clearly this is no ordinary boozer. The mood of the club is set by a dimly lit, narrow lobby, which is covered in luscious, deep red wallpaper that takes you back to racier times when this venue was a strip joint. The main room is clean, expansive and dark, but not gloomy. Candles, maroon drapes, and period fireplaces add to the ambience and work well with a svelte-looking bar that runs the length of the room. Large mirrors reflect a golden hue emanating from elegant ceiling lights. The generous floor space at The House and Terrace allows for a slightly raised dancefloor in the centre of the room. Elsewhere, you can stretch out on comfy, low-slung sofas. The club turns smoking into an art form with its stylish outdoor terrace, which is easily the size of a tennis court. Even non-smokers will enjoy this huge landscaped space. The AtmosphereThe north side of Greenwich is still a bit edgy, so don't expect pouting Sloanes or young hipsters. Instead, you get a local, thirtysomething crowd who are down to earth but like to dress up. The bar staff are also very pleasant and attentive."

I've been to the House & Terrace numerous times and always enjoyed myself. Most recent was the In Bed With Space party last month and the crowd were great and the Terrace outside has a real Ibiza feel to it. - Report

The Music
There's a definite 80s vibe at The House and Terrace but forget pop and soft rock, instead DJs cut off a fat slice of funk and soul for the weekend crowd. Electro beats are thrown into the mix on Saturdays, but most nights remain fairly funky.

The Drink
The drink menu can cope with most of your alcohol needs without hitting your wallet too hard. Bottled beers and spirits are sold roughly at pub prices, and new and old world wines can be brought by the glass or bottle. If you feel like adding a little fizz to your night out then there are at least two Champagne brands to choose from, the top price being £50.

The Last Word
You have to admire the pioneering spirit needed to create a lavish club in such an unsightly industrial landscape. However, with the promise of good DJs and continued local support there's every chance that The House and Terrace will be an unlikely hit with the capital's clubbers.

Cr*p club full of south london/belvedere/bexleyheath wanabees.
Over priced, queues outside for no reason, just to make it look popular and busy.
In the middle of nowhere, stick to the West End...

The house and Terrace is an 'Ok' club, a bit on the pricey side and the guestlist is a joke! If you are going down make sure you are prepared to que for at least 45 mins.
The music is ok. The people that attend are quiet young but everyone seems to get on.
Overall it's ok for the local area, however i wouldnt bother travelling down from far would rather hit west'

Good music & the Terrace is amazing, have to agree with the others the girls that walk around with the clipboards on the main door (Put a smile on your face, your no-one special) you only run a guestlist where you tick names off when people arrive.
