i found the food great when i went with some friends and the service was excellent. have no complaints and would urge people to try it for themselves at least once. x
Cafe Corfu Bar & Grill is now under new ownership and it was a disappointment. Used to be a great place. The service was friendly but very slow.
We took a group and had the set menu. The food was okay but not great. The portions were small for the price. Drinks are very expensive and they ran out of the nice wine after a couple of bottles. The alternative was mediocre. When we asked for tap water, they brought bottled water.
It took an eternity for them to calculate the bill and they really struggled when we asked them to split the bill equally between us.
Until they get the bank sorted out it's cash only.
They were welcoming and friendly but need to work on the practicalities of running a restaurant. Hopefully they'll get it right soon but at the moment it's not good value for money.
I have been to Cafe Corfu Bar and Grill a few times and it has always been very good. The service has never been the quickest but the result was always worth the wait and partly understandable since the food was freshly prepared. It is also pleasantly different from the majority of the Greek restaurants in this country where you always get more or less the same things.
I have to point out that around the time of the bad comments, Cafe Corfu Bar and Grill went through a difficult phase of changing hands, and in between a person of no experience had been left to look after the place.
I went to Cafe Corfu Bar & Grill with my family. The surroudnings gave us a warm feeling and reminded ud of Greece. It was early so the Cafe Corfu wasn't busy. We had a few drinks followed by a main meal, which was very nice but a bit small.
WE WOULD PROBABLY VISIT AGAIN BUT THEY NEED TO IMPROVE THE SIZE OF THE MENU AND THE MEALS.
THE GIRL WHO WAS SERVING WAS FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING, EVEN TO THE POINT OF OUR TWO YEAR OLD SON TAKING A SHINE TO HER, THANKYOU FOR THE BALLOON
I went to Cafe Corfu for a friends birthday and it was pretty average. Scarce waiting staff combined with not so great food and watery beer made for a forgettable birthday experience.
I wouldn't recommend Cafe Corfu to anyone and won't be back. To top our night off, at the end of the evening, my friend's shirt caught fire from a bunch of candles sitting on the bar. Don't go.
I've been coming to Cafe Corfu Bar & Grill for years and never been disappointed. I always found their imaginative take on greek food absolutely exquisite (OK, had some less satisfying moment but, which place does not have them?)
Being in the business, I can certainly recognise a good restaurant when I see it and Cafe Corfu Bar & Grill is definitely one of them. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
I have been to Cafe Corfu Bar & Grill several times and, honestly, I do not understand what all these people are talking about. Probably they've been somewhere else, or have never been in a restaurant before!
I am a professional chef (currently head chef in a 1AA rosette restaurant), and have worked in Greece for two years. Well, I have to say, the food at Cafe Corfu Bar & Grill is superb, traditional Greek dishes with a modern, imaginative twist, all cooked to perfection and beautifully presented.
Ok, the service is not always perfect but still well worth it.
I went to Cafe Corfu Bar and Grill and had a very ok meal. Please, please, please think before you go. There are so many better places to eat than this. If you do go to Cafe Corfu Bar and Restaurant you have been warned.
