This was my worst bar experience in London. Although the 8 of us celebrating a friends leaving do, went in with the best of intentions and a good, friendly mood we ended up having the worst night ever, being abused by bouncers and regretting giving our money to a place like this. The security stuff -who btw are everywhere!-is full of ignorant ex-bodybuilders who were bullied back in school and got this job to get revenge on the society. After being repeatedly harassed by one of them we asked to speak to the manager who - surprise!- looked like coming out of a Guy Richie movie (or wanted to look like one), treated us with disrespect, was hostile and with even worse manners than the bouncers. They seemed to regularly throw people out of the bar with any excuse - which we figured out is a good way of refreshing the clientelle every hour or so by the long queues outside, and pocketing more money.Generally there are no rules or rights in this bar, it is like entering a crazy person's home and you have to play by his rules. Seriously, there are so many nicer places to go in London, with friendlier atmosphere and much better service. There is one thing I owe to give them thought: they couldn't have chosen a better name!

My friends and I paid £7 each to go the Zoo bar on Tuesday night.
When I was using the bathroom I saw one of the bouncers looking over the toilet stall doors while someone a guy was using it. I thought that was disgusting.
Later, I put on a baseball cap that my friend had bought with him. Then a bouncer told me to put my drink down and go out side to "talk" to him. When I got out side he said I wasn't allowed back in side and he wouldn't give a reason why. In case your wondering I wasn't drunk and I wasn't causing any trouble, which really pissed me off. They basically ruined me and my friend's night for no reason.

i went a couple of months and had a great time! the music is highly varied from room to room and the drinks aren't expensive, entry is reasonable price. you could easily have a good time in this place with only £20 in your pocket!

I had no intension of liking this place. As a proper Londoner I always thought Leicester sq nightclubs were pricey tourist pits. I’ve also become a little snobby of late liking cocktail joints and gastropubs. But this is the place I’ve been longing for, somewhere cheap, cheerful, fun, unpretentious and somewhere to just be yourself. Staff all friendly and genuine, drinks were about £2.50 each and somehow we got in for free after no queuing at 11pm. Music was very cheesy, a great place for a midweek blow out. Next time you long for a big night out with no pretension, head to this place.

a group of us girls went to zoo bar the saturday just gone, and i have to say it was one of the easiest club nights iv ever had in london! and iv been to a few in my time. I organised my friends 21st there, and getting on guestlist and booking a booth was made so simple. Easy to find so there was no walking around once we got off the train. We walked right in as we booked a booth, so there was no queing wat so ever. Even if u didnt book a booth, the que wasnt too long, but i defo adivce people to book seating as it is free. The bouncers were all friendly, the music was a great mix, and the service at the bar was very quick. There was one or two guys who tried it but then they would with 7 feamles out on there own, but wen we said go away they did so they were easy to get rid off. Overall the drinks were flowing and we boogayed the night away.

Visited on Saturday 5th July with my girlfriend. Same here as for Tiger Tiger I'm afraid - excellent venue - good staff - minimal wait (got there around 1 i think) - good mix of people - good prices (considerin' it's a london club) - prime location - Duff Sounds!! There was a moment when it seemed the DJ was employing some skill but I suspect he was playing someone else's mix.

If most of your CD collection's titles start with, 'Now that's what I call...' then maybe you'll like this place - for the discerning party lover, keep looking!

I was at zoo to watch the euro & the buzz in the place was good. Then to top it off the drinks prices were so good druing the week as the student night prices kicked in so we all stayed on dancing the night away.
thanks for the great night!
